Yes, happy are those who have it like this!  Happy indeed are those whose God is the Lord.  (Psalm 144:15)

After wandering the globe for half a century (more or less), Bill Tippett and Charlanne Fields both returned to their roots in Piedmont North Carolina to find unexpected bliss together! Though their parents had been best friends for decades, the two had actually met only once, when both were still school children. But fireworks flew at that second meeting, in July of 1997, and on the following Thanksgiving Day (That's FOUR MONTHS later, November 1997!) they were wed in the presence of their immediate families in the Fields' living room in Greensboro, NC. The following Easter (April 1998) friends and family joined in celebrating the union at a BIG BASH at Magnolia Manor in Greensboro.

On their first date Bill and Charlanne discovered their mutual love for good food, fine wine, classical music, the outdoors, and most of all travel!  And folks who know them seem to think that's all they do! Since they are blessed enough to be retired, during their four years of wedded bliss they have traveled to Holland, Greece, Paris, Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands, Germany & Switzerland (a Rhine River cruise), Alaska (cruising and camping) and the Caribbean. Their favorite spot to return to again and again is JamaicaŚ love that reggae music and Blue Mountain coffee! Click Project One Love for our latest project in Jamaica.

Charlanne and Bill would like all their friends to know that the secret to their "Happy Hearts" is simple: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) They have assurance that they will be in Heaven together, just as they are sure that God brought them together when the time was right. It is their fondest hope that all who read this will make the same commitment of their hearts to Jesus and find true, eternal happiness as they have.
